There is this little gem of a place hidden about 45 min from Edmonton called Farm Fresh Florals that has endless possibilities for your portrait photos AND you can even purchase your own cut-flower bouquet to remember your time there.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Jen last summer and we totally vibed haha She showed me all of the amazing spots around their property and then let me have free reign to photograph my gorgeous friends in her space.

I did everything from family photos to more artsy portraits and even a few branding shots for Jen at the end of the evening before I picked my own bouquet to bring home with me. She took me around the garden while I chose my favourite flowers to create a little bit of happiness to keep. And because the flowers go right from the garden to your home, they last even longer!

Featuring tulle skirts from my Client Closet

About a month ago I had the opportunity to get together with five other talented photographers at the Foundry Room. We were graced by the presence of three beautiful dancers who showed us their beauty both inside and out. 

I made the last minute decision to bring my big, pink tulle skirt (one of my favourite items that is available to all clients) and I'm pretty sure I made everyone's eyes light up as soon as they saw it. 

Winter (a.k.a. the mass hibernation) is a tough time for a lot of us creatives who live in the north, but this session sparked my joy for photography and got me even more excited for the year to come and the people I'm going to meet.
