COVID-19 has most definitely posed many challenges and opportunities for families and photographers alike. There are so many families that have missed out on sessions they dreamed of, and believe me, us photographers wish we could have been there for all of them too. I have been so fortunate to still be part of creating memories with so many families, and the most recent even made a big move all way from England to come to Canada with their little, it's just too bad Spring keeps teasing us with arriving this year! This family was so brave and came out even though it was only 4 degrees for their session. I'm sure you will agree with me that the results were still so wonderful, and you can see the love and joy in every photo. And that's a wrap! I just can't with those blue eyes though.
About a month ago I had the opportunity to get together with five other talented photographers at the Foundry Room. We were graced by the presence of three beautiful dancers who showed us their beauty both inside and out. I made the last minute decision to bring my big, pink tulle skirt (one of my favourite items that is available to all clients) and I'm pretty sure I made everyone's eyes light up as soon as they saw it. Winter (a.k.a. the mass hibernation) is a tough time for a lot of us creatives who live in the north, but this session sparked my joy for photography and got me even more excited for the year to come and the people I'm going to meet. What brings you joy and sparks your creative side? PLEASE let me know and let's have some fun together! Interested in your own creative portrait session?
